Hamilton has been with Mohegan Sun since 2004. He has also held several important key management positions within Human Resources, Advertising and most recently as Assistant General Manager during his time with Mohegan Sun.

Hamilton received a bachelor’s degree at Seton Hall University and a master’s degree at the University of New Haven. He is a member of the Mohegan Tribe, the 2016 Chairman for the March of Dimes Walk for Babies and is a proud member of the Board of Directors for the United Way of Southeastern CT.

In his new role as President and General Manager, Hamilton will also be responsible for achieving overall business objectives and the strategic planning and operational results of Mohegan Sun and will also drive and oversee the development and implementation of capital and operating budgets, marketing business plans, technology, the guest experience, and human capital development.

Hamilton lives in Cranston, Rhode Island with his wife Cynthia and two children Lina and Jeffrey Jr.

Kevin Lowry

As an integral part of the Mohegan Sun team since its establishment, Kevin has served as the former Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Mohegan Sun and Mohegan Sun Pocono. Within the finance department, Kevin has held the roles of Analyst, Budgets and Analysis Manager, Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, as well as VP of Financial Planning & Analysis over the years. He will utilize his wide range of financial knowledge as Assistant General Manager and ensure optimal performance and fiscal growth for the property.

Lowry will work alongside Jeffrey Hamilton, President and General Manager of Mohegan Sun, and the leadership team on all major initiatives.

Lowry is a native of Groton, CT and a graduate of Fitch High School. He earned a Bachelor’s in Business Management from Marietta College. He currently resides in Pawcatuck, CT with his two sons Kyle and Luke.

Kim Noto

Kim Noto is the top executive on all Mohegan Sun marketing efforts, which includes the operation, direction and strategies for Mohegan Sun’s Player’s Club (Momentum), VIP Services, Hotel Sales & Marketing, Hotel Yielding, Database Marketing, Sponsorship, Bus Marketing and Special Events.

Noto has been with Mohegan Sun since 2007, developing a wealth of knowledge and experience through roles that include serving as the Marketing Analyst, Senior Marketing Analyst, Marketing Analysis Manager, Director of Campaign Management & Analytics and VP of Customer Relationship Management.

Noto has a Bachelor of Science in business administration with a concentration in marketing from Bryant University and an MBA in business analytics from the University of Hartford. Kim currently lives in Pawcatuck, CT with her family.

The Mohegan Tribe, which owns and operated the Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut, is the first Native American tribe to be licensed to operate a Las Vegas casino. The tribe will operate the Mohegan Sun Casino at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas when it opens January 15, 2021.

The new casino replaces the former Hard Rock Hotel, which operated 1995-2020 on Harmon Avenue east of the Strip. Richard Branson and a group of investors purchased the Hard Rock property in 2018. Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment was contracted as the licensed operator of the casino in September 2019.

Hard Rock was shut down in April 2020 to renovate and rebrand the property as Mohegan Sun Casino at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.

Grand Opening Postponed Again

Mohegan Sun Casino was last scheduled to open January 15, 2021, however, that date was postponed in December due to the COVID-19 market conditions. A new date has not been announced.

Mohegan Sun Casino Las Vegas receives gaming license for Jan 15 opening

The Mohegan Sun Casino at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas will be the first Native American casino to operate in Las Vegas, Nevada when it opens January 15, 2021.

Last week the Nevada Gaming Commission formally approved the casino license which clears the way for the January opening. The Commission Chairman John Moran told the Mohegan officials:

'We are glad to have you here as the first Native tribe on the Strip corridor. You have an impressive string of firsts. The Mohegan tribal gaming has come a long way in its eight locations and nine with Las Vegas and Nevada.'

The Mohegan Sun Casino at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas will open on the former site of the Hard Rock Hotel and operate a 60,000-square-foot gaming floor featuring 650 slot machines, 50 table games and a sportsbook. A private gaming room on the 16th floor will be reserved for high rollers.

Mohegans will manage new Virgin Las Vegas casino

Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment, owned by the Mohegan Tribe in Connecticut, will manage the casino operations at the new Virgin Hotel Las Vegas which opens in late 2020.

Virgin Hotels is buying the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Hard Rock will be closed in February and followed by 8-months of renovation and rebranding..

Virgin Hotels selected Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment to run its casino subject to approval by the Nevada Gaming Board. Mohegan Gaming currently manages six other casinos:

Mohegan Sun - Connecticut
Mohegan Sun Pocono - Pennsylvania
Inspire Entertainment Resort - South Korea
ilani - Washington
Paragon Casino Resort - Louisiana
Resorts Casino Hotel - Atlantic City

Terms of the agreement between Virgin Hotels and Mohegan Gaming are not disclosed.
