Oh, that age-old question that follows after you tell people you live in Las Vegas: “Do you stay/work/spend all your time in a hotel?”
Well, can you imagine actually saying yes? That would be the dream. Maybe if you, or any of us, hit Megabucks, release a hit song or develop the latest-and-greatest social media platform, then we can nod our heads with glee. But for now, we can sit back and admire these beauties and picture what it’s like to live in complete Vegas hotel luxury.
Well, well, well…isn’t this the perfect dinner party setting! Photo courtesy of Trump International Hotel Las Vegas.
Trump Las Vegas International
Number of residences: 1,232 luxury suites and 50 penthouses
Price range: $250,000 – $3.75 million
Fun perks: New residents get a complimentary nighttime helicopter ride over the Las Vegas Strip. Sweet!
It’s one thing to rock a piece of gold, but can you envision living in it? Yep, the Trump hotel is encased in a 24-karat gold glass. It’s really hard to miss. If you plan on buying a studio or penthouse at Trump, you can celebrate with five other friends on a private helicopter tour. A sparkling wine toast is included.
Each luxury residence features floor-to-ceiling windows with gorgeous views of the Las Vegas Strip and surrounding mountains. The marble-adorned bathrooms include double sinks and huge whirlpool tubs, as well as a flat-screen TV in the bathroom mirror. And whenever you’re ready to throw your housewarming soiree, you can welcome your friends (in your fanciest accent) in the gigantic private foyer.
Residents get easy access to the hotel’s facilities. The 11,000-square-foot spa and fitness center is only an elevator ride away. When you’re hungry enjoy seasonal and locally-sourced, farm-to-table breakfast, lunch and dinner cuisine at DJT, the hotel’s signature restaurant. DJT lounge also offers a seasonal mixology program featuring house-made cocktails.
We also love how Fashion Show Mall is only a two-minute walk away. You can do your shopping and enjoy even more dining choices.
Insert jazz music (the sultry saxophone solo part) here. Palms Place seems to be THE place. Photo courtesy of Palms Place hotel.
Palms Place
Number of residences: 599
Price range: Starting at $148,000 for a mountain view; $179,500 for a Strip view studio; and $279,000 for a one bedroom. Prices vary by floor level and view.
Fun perks: Palms Place offers an exclusive concierge service for all resident owners. They’ll be able to help with transportation arrangements, show tickets and laundry service. Owners also get restaurant discounts at both Palms and Palms Place and 24-hour room service.
This Four Diamond property is definitely something we’d love to call home. Upon moving in, every Palms Place residence gets a refresh. This includes new hardwood floors, new carpet, diamond restoration on the marble, paint touch ups and everything else to make it feel like you’re the first one to have it. Even if you don’t plan on living in Vegas year round, you have the option to rent out your residence and place it in the hotel’s reservation system.
Palms is already one of our favorite Vegas spots, so just imagine waking up with everything within reach. You can easily roll out of bed and party on the rooftop at the Palms hotel’s fall and winter’s Ghostbar Dayclub (GBDC). During the summer, you can groove to live music at the Palms pool. Palms Place’s boutique rooftop pool and cabana area are both open year round, weather permitting. If you’re hungry, you can munch on tasty burgers and organic options at the hotel’s Café 6.
Take the elevator to the 6th floor and enjoy Palms Place’s Drift Spa and Hammam. It includes a co-ed hammam, a steam bath that’s commonly used in Morocco. You’ll also find a Pilates and yoga studio on this floor.
Walking over to the Palms is easy — the second floor includes a sky tube that connects the two properties, making it easy to go from one place to the other. In addition to a movie theater, a casino, lounges and more restaurants, the Palms features the Pearl theater, one of our favorite concert venues.
The stunning design got us feeling some kind of way. We think we’re in love, and we’re perfectly fine with sitting right here. The Residences at Mandarin Oriental, photo from businesswire.com.
The Residences at Mandarin Oriental

Located in the heart of the Strip within CityCenter, you’re only steps away from all the action at Aria, Vdara and Crystals shopping center. But we wouldn’t mind sticking around in the award-winning Mandarin Oriental, either. Located on the 23rd floor, the Mandarin Bar has gorgeous views of the Strip. But honestly, we’d love to get dolled up for tea time at the hotel’s tea lounge, which is also just an elevaor ride away.
Mandarin Oriental also has a gorgeous two-level spa, complete with couple’s suites, steam rooms, hammam, a salon, yoga studio and much more. Owners also get a separate entrance and valet, parking garage, as well as private elevators with easy access to all of the hotel amenities.
Each spacious residence offers large windows, hardwood flooring, a wine refrigerator and spa-inspired bathrooms.

What’s not to love about this location? Besides living on MGM Grand’s larger-than-life property, each Signature unit comes with modern appliances and electronics, a flat-screen TV, a whirlpool tub and marble bathrooms. If you’re a true baller, you have the option to buy a studio and one bedroom unit that are next to each other. We say more space equals more parties.
If we were to list all of the happenings at MGM Grand, we’d have you reading forever. But it’s cool to know there’s a temperature-controlled walkway from your place at The Signature to the hotel. MGM has something for everyone, from shows like “Jabbawockeez” and Cirque du Soleil’s “KÀ” to the all-night party at Hakkasan nightclub. Oh, and more celebrity restaurants than we can count.
Yes, living in any of these four Vegas hotels sounds like the perfect dream, not to mention an ideal getaway. These may all just be a fantasy but hey, there’s always this solution: You can have a mini-dream for a weekend in one of these posh Vegas suites.
